Your Kingdom Come
On the first Sunday of each month, we gather in teams to serve our local Logan West Community. From mowing grass, cleaning windows, cooking meals, to sowing care teddies for local hospitals, there is a huge variety of ways that we practically meet our community’s needs.
These Sundays are an extension of our heart to be a church that builds God’s kingdom here on earth.

What to expect on a community service Sunday:
- We gather in the main auditorium at 8:45am.
- Around 8:50am, we’ll break off into project teams.
- Each team is assigned a project for the day.
- Every project has a team leader that knows what to do.
- You’re welcome to take your car from KLC or grab a lift with someone on your project.
- We return to KLC around 11am for morning tea
- (If you've registered, we'll let you know via email what work and team you've been assigned to early on Sunday morning.)
What to Bring:
- Wear clothes that are appropriate for the task you've been assigned (yard work, cooking, etc.)
- Any tools or equipment you can bring that will get your task done.
- Gloves, closed shoes and any PPE equipment appropriate to your task.
